There comes a time when we decide to no longer accept “good enough”. Today can be that day. thebeAst Fitness is not a traditional gym. There are no treadmills. No one stares impatiently while you struggle with the weights. 

 

 

thebeAst Fitness is a group fitness gym made of people just like you. It doesn’t matter if you’re “in shape” or your level of experience. Your age, race, gender, orientation, occupation, etc doesn’t matter here. We are about functional fitness. 

 

 

thebeAst Fitness takes what worked to create the best athletes in the world from the various sports: weightlifting, track, yoga, gymnastics. We threw out what didn’t work. We reintroduce the concept of personal athletic achievement to training. The mindset at the start of each workout is to be stronger, move faster, and be more efficient than before.

Functional Fitness

Constantly varied movement is a key component of functional fitness. thebeAst Fitness embraces this concept with workouts that are always challenging, never dull, and compel us to do our very best.

Our workouts are different every day. You won't find yourself in another boring workout here. High-intensity interval training is a proven science to get the best results in the least amount of time. Get ready to sweat because you'll do more in 10 minutes than most people can do in an hour!

Nutrition Planning

You already know how important proper nutrition is to your health. For most of us, it's our biggest obstacle. Exercise is done often but nutrition happens constantly. It's a matter of whether we make the right choice or not.

Nutritional counseling is included free with your thebeAst Fitness membership. No fad diets, magic pills, or powders here. Instead, we teach you proper portion control and meal planning, with a program designed specifically for your unique needs.

Whether you are trying to trim excess fat, build lean muscle, or both, we'll get you there. We deliver not only our expertise but also help you track your successes and address your sticking points.

Support & Accountability

thebeAst Fitness trainers are always right there with you, providing constant monitoring and expert coaching. They are not the only ones supporting you though. You will find other members surprisingly invested in your success.

A Message from the Owner

In 2012 I sat in my windowed corner office weighing over 300lbs and making six figures building computer databases, pondering. I asked myself three simple questions:

 

Do you want to do this the rest of your life?

Is this what you want to be remembered for?

Are you happy?

 

After 15yrs of climbing the corporate ladder, accolades and a promising financial future… I honestly couldn’t answer yes to one of those questions.

 

Soon after, I rekindled my former passion for fitness and motivating/teaching others to find a love for themselves and their health.

 

In 2013 thebeAst Fitness was born and today I can answer yes to all three questions.

 

As of today, we have trained over 1000 athletes, including high school athletes, college athletes, professional athletes, grandmas, grandpas, nurses, teachers, military, police, fire fighters, morbidly obese, anorexic, amputee, truck drivers, moms, dads, kids, special needs… hell we’ve even trained a few dogs!!! 

 

It doesn’t matter where you’re from, who you love, where you call home, what your race is, what your age is, what your ability is… you are worthy, you are valued and you are capable.  It’s my job to show you just how much and I can’t wait to meet you… and the new you!!!

Chad Alvey is a native of Louisville, Kentucky. Born and raised in our city, he knows the value of hard work and earning an honest living.

A former Marine, Chad has served our country in combat deployment. He returned home to continue giving back to the community he loves.

Familiar with manual labor, technical work, and everything in between, Chad believes personal health is something that connects all of us. He was also once obese himself, dropping from over 300 pounds to the solid athlete he is today. It is his sincere investment to help you reach your personal health and fitness goals too.
